Canterbury Festival returns to Westgate Hall for two weeks of entertainment.

Combining Ska, Jazz and Eastern European Gypsy music with Latin and Cuban influences thrown in for good measure, Gypskazz are a six-piece band that are guaranteed to blow the roof off! On accordion, saxophone, guitar, ukulele, bass, and drums, plus vocals from the band members, they perform original tracks and genre related covers in the style of Hungarian czardas, Russian folk, and Gypsy jazz classics, all arranged in their inimitable way. Expect a musical adventure that takes you through country and continent, filled with pondering ballads, tango, waltz, swing, and high-energy songs. Their music is infectious, fun, soulful and spirited. Guaranteed to get your feet-tapping and up dancing.
