Yes, we’ve made it! Exciting times indeed! Welcome Year Two!
As you’ll see from our facebook page, there are ever more events taking place at the Westgate Hall, particularly in support of the Trust and its efforts to save the Hall for the community. The ball is rolling! And it’s heartwarming.
Last Saturday morning, some 20 of us gathered to celebrate our first birthday. What a party, particularly so early in the weekend. Lots of planting, filling hanging baskets, chatter, photo ops with the Kentish Gazette and Canterbury Times and delicious homemade cakes to keep us going!
Thanks to all who came, took the time to bake and provide refreshing wine, carried ladders, donated plants, got their hands dirty and shared their good humour! Yes, it may sound tacky, but it’s the truth, we’ve got community!
