Casual Hospitality Assistants

We’re looking for hospitality assistants to support our busy, vibrant venue over the coming season as we host a range of events from music gigs and markets to parties, conferences, workshops and more.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, confident, creative individuals to join the Westgate Hall family. As a Casual Hospitality Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Support: Assist with event setup, and set down of event layouts including moving tables and chairs.
• Food and Beverage Service: Efficiently serve food and drinks to guests (Westgate Hall is a licensed premises).
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to all customers.
• Cleaning and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Teamwork – ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Essential Requirements:

• Aged 18 years+.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in bars or restaurants.
• Food Hygiene Certificate (not essential).
