The Trust’s “Westgate Hall take over” fund has received a great boost from the wonderful Salsa party kindly organised by Salsa Asi and Salsa South.. They have helped us raise a fantastic £769! Together with membership fees, sales of Save Westgate Hall jute shopping bags, and donations means that in the first 20 days of March we have made great progress!

There is still a way to go to build up a kitty so that, if (or maybe when?) the Trust takes over the running of the Hall we can afford the inevitable legal and professional fees and tackle immediate expenditure. We have set ourselves a target of £10,000 for September. We now need to raise another £6,852, but there are some very exciting fundraising events in the pipeline, have a look here. More information on all of them soon!

We would also like to thank, once more, the Dolphin Inn, the Veg Box Cafe and the Wildwood Trust for fantastic raffle prizes.
