Canterbury Festival comes to Westgate Hall! Opera-lele’s full-length evening show will take you to the theatre in unexpected ways.

In their triumphant return to Canterbury Festival, OperaMANIA sees opera and ukeles come together as they sing their way onto the silver screen with some well-known operatic repertoire used in movies such as The Mission, The Godfather, High Society and Mr Bean’s Holiday. They’ll also be strumming you to Broadway, singing and playing songs from all your favourite shows including Anything Goes, Carousel, West Side Story and Annie Get Your Gun. Opera-lele is a unique comedy music act specialising in performing music from opera and musical theatre accompanied by the emotionally powerful yet understated twang of their ukuleles.
