Come to the afternoon session to play the games on offer and see talks from developers, Canterbury Christ Church University’s students and academics, including videogame historian Dr. Alan Meades.

Join the evening session to play the games while enjoying a line-up of musicians including electronica duo Liotia and an ensemble of classical musicians playing songs from videogames. Go head-to-head in Surgeball, a team-based soccer-shooter where players have to literally shoot the ball into the goal in a futuristic arena. Put on a (well-sanitised) VR headset and smash a city to pieces in Mechanize.

Whether you choose to join us in the afternoon, evening, or both – there will be a diverse array of games on show from up-and-coming local developers.

CCCU is partner and principal sponsor of this event and Canterbury Festival.

Canterbury Festival brings world-renowned artists, musicians, comedians and performers to Canterbury.
